We are looking for a Head of Sales & BD to join our quickly growing company to lead our sales and business development activities. You will be responsible for driving commercial initiatives and build as well as lead a sales and business development team.
You should have previous experience in a complex sales environment in healthcare, ideally for a SaaS product, and management of multiple channels while taking accountability for reaching targets. You should also be able to hire, supervise and coach a team of salespeople, local and global partners and set goals. Our ideal candidates combine excellent communication skills and the ability to coach with a strategic mindset. Ultimately, you will ensure your area of responsibility meets and exceeds the expectations of our business objectives and contributes to our company’s success in the long run.

Main activities and responsibilities:
Create sales plans and strategies in alignment with business objectives
Plan, hire and manage a highly effective sales team and align activities with our omnichannel marketing activities
Report on sales results at different geographical and segment levels with a critical eye
Travel regularly to support local sales and BD activities
Forecast monthly/quarterly and review the progress of the sales funnel
Supervise the development of strategic accounts within the territory
Create and maintain a high-level relationship with local distributors and global partners
Represent Nostos at virtual or in-person meetings/conferences
Lead market development activities through discussions with KOLs and national networks
Work closely together with the senior management team on the strategy
Review each team member's performance regularly, identifying skills and areas of improvement
At least 3-5 year’s experience in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) sales management position
Strong communication skills, including experience explaining complex scientific principles clearly
Experience providing first-class service to clients as part of a team, preferably within the clinical, clinical research, biotechnology, or medical technology industries
English fluent as our universal company language
A scientific degree
Understanding of the medical lab or general healthcare industry
